CHARLOTTE,NC--A call center in Charlotte is looking to hire a large amount of new employees.

Convergys says they plan to hire more than 1,600 employees as it expands it's two call centers.

The average pay for most of the jobs is around $21,000 a year.

Convergys provides customer support for companies around the world.
