Cam Newton Will NOT be on Cover of Madden 13

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Cam Newton will not be on the cover of the new Madden NFL video game. 

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson beat him out in an online vote.  Many of the player's fans refused to vote for them because of the "Madden Curse." 

Cam says he doesn't believe in the curse.  Now, Panther fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
