BOSTON, M.A. -- Charlotte fitness instructor Nicole Gross is out of the hospital after suffering severe injuries in the Boston bombings last month.

Nicole Gross left Brigham & Women's Hospital Friday to go to a rehabilitation facility in Boston.

Michael Gross, Nicole's husband, tells us that Nicole will go through several weeks of physical therapy.

"We could not have made it through without the courageous work of rescuers, our devoted doctors and nurses, the unfailing support of the Charlotte Athletic Club where we work, and the love and kindness of friends, family and people we haven't even met," says Michael.
