Charlotte Ford Dealers Team up with American Idol & Local Charities

Charlotte-area Ford Dealerships will participate in a charity fundraiser today that will double as an introduction to the 2013 Fusion. For each person who attends "Go Further with Ford Night," the dealer will donate $10, up to a total of $500, to a local charity.
 

With more than 2,100 dealers signed up, Ford hopes to raise $1 million for charities and non-profits across the country. While at the dealership, consumers will have an opportunity to compete to win a special VIP experience with “American Idol.”
 

A computer with a webcam will be set up in the dealership to allow participants to view a special message from Ryan Seacrest and test their judging skills on camera, in true “American Idol”-style.
Participants will be entered into a prize draw to win an all-new 2013 Ford Fusion. No purchase is necessary and other restrictions apply. See full official rules online for details.  Entries will be sent back to Ford's program headquarters where a team of experts will evaluate and select one winner nationwide to receive an all-expenses-paid American Idol trip for two to Hollywood.
 

Most events will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., but check with your local Ford dealer for details, as some will begin closer to noon. To pre-register, go to www.randomactsoffusion.com and be entered for a chance to win tickets to a live taping of American Idol.
