Charlotte is Another Step Closer to Getting Toll Lanes on I-77

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--A plan for toll lanes along part of I-77 in Charlotte takes another step forward. 

The high occupancy toll lanes will run from uptown to southern Iredell County.  The State Department of Transportation is starting the environment assessment. 

NCDOT will hold public workshops in Cornelius and Charlotte next week to discuss the project.
