CHARLOTTE,NC--Work on Charlotte's streetcar is creating some growing pains.

You can expect detours on North Kings drive through the beginning of next week.

The stretch between Elizabeth Avenue and Central Avenue shut down Tuesday for a water line installation.

The project is scheduled to be finished next Tuesday.
