Checkers Donate To Breast Cancer Support Groups

CHARLOTTE,NC--There was a lot of pink at the Checkers game in uptown Saturday.

Pink jersey's and hats were auctioned off to raise money for breast cancer support groups in the Charlotte area.

The ticket sales went to benefit Go Jen Go, a local non-profit  group started by a south Charlotte mom to help North Carolinians battle cancer.

At the game Charlotte Checkers presented Go Jen Go with a $25,000 gift.
