Christmas Day Fire Destroys Mobile Home

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C.-- Emergency crews in Huntersville spent early Christmas morning battling a fire at an abandoned mobile home.

Crews with the Huntersville and Long Creek Fire Departments were called out just after 6 a.m. to a fire at Detroiter Drive and Mascot Lane.

According to officials, it took crews about fifteen minutes to knock down the fire, which left the home a total loss.

The Huntersville Police Department and Mecklenburg County Fire Marshal's Office are investigating this incident.
