Delta Employee Orders Pizza Hut For Delayed Plane

KNOXVILLE, T.N.-- A Delta Airlines employee ordered Pizza Hut for passengers after they were stuck on the tarmac for three hours.

Reports say the plane set to fly from Tennessee to Atlanta was delayed on Monday when the airline's Knoxville station manager came up with the idea.

The 60 pizzas were delivered to the plane by a police car. Passengers were excited to receive the food, but some say they could have used a beer after all that waiting.
