Derek James' One-on-One Interview with Ryan SeacrestCHARLOTTE, N.C. - American Idol host Ryan Seacrest took a few minutes to talk with FOX Charlotte's Derek James during the 2nd round of AI auditions that were being held this week at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Ryan talked with Derek about his connection with the young talent, their determination, the history of our area producing great talent and also, the new Idol judges. Seacrest also expressed his feelings on watching the kids as they go through the auditioning process. The 2nd round of American Idol judging continues on Wednesday.
