Developers Tour Eastland MallCHARLOTTE,NC--A re-development plan for Eastland mall could be set by June, after prospective developers toured the property Wednesday. City Leaders say they hope to get a better idea of what can be done and how much it would cost. Ideas of converting the mall into a movie studio have been floating around, though city staff says they're willing to accept other proposals. The list of interested developers will be narrowed down in Mid- February.
