Dozens of Seized Cats Euthanized in Iredell CountyIREDELL COUNTY, N.C.--Dozens of animals that were seized from a suspected cat hoarder's home in Iredell County have been euthanized. Animal Control officers seized 198 cats and three dogs from the house on Creekside Drive on Friday. They spent nearly 10 hours removing them. Charges are pending against the woman who lives there. A neighbor told us the house has been a problem for years. About 50 cats were sick and were euthanized. The Director of Animal Control says there were only three litter boxes in the home. |
