CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- CMS Superintendent Heath Morrison addresses the debated topic of when CMS will make up their snow days.

Parents have been vocal at pick up and drop off and on social media regarding it.

Right now the CMS website lists two days of Spring Break as make up days.

Morrison says they are set to make a decision Tuesday and looking at flexibility with hours.

The law says they have to go 185 days or 1,025 hours. The superintendent says they will either stay with the calendar or see if it can be waived. He has spoken with Governor McCrory.

Regarding the proposed voucher to spend millions of taxpayer money on private schools, he says many superintendents are concerned.

Morrison adds that private schools aren't held to the same accountability rules as public schools.
