CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Eli was abandoned at a home after his owner moved away.  He is about 2 years old, weighs only 26 pounds and is a Pit Bull Mix.  He is is currently being trained with the shelter's Train to Adopt program.  Eli is very attention to instruction and enjoys socializing with other dogs.  With his cute smile, he is very easy to love.  If you would like to adopt Eli his ID # is A1047546.

CMPD AC&C will be holding a free rabies vaccination and microchip clinic on Saturday, March 23rd from 8am until noon.  Vaccinations will be available for both cats and dogs.  The clinic will be held at the Four Seasons HOA Community Center, 5050 Farm Pond Lane in Charlotte.  Dogs must be on leash and cats must be in carriers.  For more information, call 704-579-4576.
