Father Arrested After Disciplining His Child For Acting Out At SchoolROCK HILL, S.C.--Police have charged a father with abuse after he disciplined his child for acting up at school. Investigators say Hamilton Morales beat his son with a belt, made him walk around the backyard carrying weights in his backpack and hit a punching bag for several minutes. Police were notified after Morales' mother called investigators to report the abuse. Morales' admitted to detectives that he used the listed methods to punish the child. He also told police he wanted to break his son down mentally and make him too tired to act out. |
