Fire Destroys Home, Kills Three PetsGASTONIA, N.C.-- A Wednesday morning fire left a Gastonia home a 'total loss.' The Gastonia Fire Department responded to a fire at a home on West Airline Avenue around 10 a.m. which took crews about 10 minutes to knock down. Two brothers and five pets were inside the home at the time. Both brothers escaped along with two of the three pets. The Red Cross is assisting the family. |
