Firefighters Extinguish South Charlotte Apartment Fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte Fire Department is responding to a fire on the 200 block of Dinadan Drive in South Charlotte.

The call came in around 6 p.m. in reference to heavy smoke and visible flames at an apartment complex.

We have been informed that the Red Cross will be assisting displaced residents. Stay with Fox Charlotte for an update on this story.
