Florida Woman Brings Live Grenade To Sheriffs OfficePEMBROKE PARK,FL--A Florida elderly woman trying to hand in an old army grenade put a sheriffs office outside Miami on lockdown. The woman reportedly carried the live grenade into the station a told police it belonged to her late husband. Once cops realized what she was carrying, they evacuated the building. Authorities say It took the bomb squad hours to defuse the explosive.
