Fort Mill Clemson Student Shot and Killed
FORT MILL, SC - 23-year-old Steven Grich of Fort Mill, SC was a sophomore at Clemson University. Friends and family say Steven Grich was an unbelievable musician, with the mind of a scientist. His childhood friend Daniel Billidox lives in Connecticut but told us he will always look up to him. Billidox says, "It truly was a pleasure to have met him and i think everyone who has come across him would say the same. I would say rest in peace but I do believe his beliefs became his reality." Deputies say three masked men came through an unlocked back door of Grich's home near Clemson University Saturday night. Investigators say Grich was inside with five other people when someone shot and killed him. Fox Charlotte spoke to the victim's uncle who said the family is too shaken up to talk on camera. He did tell me that the victim's parents have been in Clemson since the shooting happened. Grich's family and friends tell me he loved making his own music. Billidox says, "Steve was always his own individual and was able to back up why he was the way he was. He never came across as ignorant in any way shape or form and I find that incredibly amazing and unique." Sources say Grich may not have been the shooter's intended target.
