Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Charlotte Area Friday

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--The Charlotte area has a possibility of seeing freezing rain Friday.

Your Friday afternoon drive home could be dangerous with the high only being 33 degrees and rain chances in the forecast.

Between 4-5 p.m. the Charlotte area has a 70% chance for rain.  The temperature is expected to be around freezing at that time.  Friday night's low is expected to be 23 degrees. 

The North Carolina mountains will definitely get some fresh powder.
