GASTON COUNTY,NC--Police say a Gaston County woman was charged with rape after she set up one of her friends to be sexually assaulted.
The incident occurred when Jeanette Valero Vazquez, 47, met with Carlos Sanchez Romero to plan how to rape the victim.
Vazquez reportedly told the victim to go to a home where she thought she would be looking at pictures in a bedroom.
Police say Romero was waiting inside the bedroom for the victim, after she entered the room he reportedly locked the door and raped her.
Detectives say Vazquez was watching the victims two children during the alleged rape.
Police are still looking for Romero, while Vazquez was arrested and charged with first-degree rape and first-degree kidnapping and was booked into Gaston County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
