CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Christina Morris is adjusting to her new life. Special glasses help her with the double vision she received from a traumatic brain injury. And one of her arms remains in a cast.
She doesn't remember the crash that critically injured her on September 19tth in Indian Trail.

"I'm not even mad. I hold no aggression or hate in my heart even though I probably should,"
said Morris. Morris spent the majority of the last seven weeks in a coma after troopers say a road
rage driver hit her car and took off.

But, none of that has fazed her. She said the crash strengthened her faith. "So much good has come from this that honestly I feel like it would be a little senseless to hold aggression and hate in my heart, it would be unhealthy for me in the long run," Morris said.

Since she began her recovery, the 21 year old has worn a special bracelet. A reminder of the crash and a fate that could have been much worse. "Its really easy to get frustrated so I do have to remind myself: look how far I've progressed, look how far I've come," she said.

As she moves forward with her life, she isn't giving up on her dream of moving to Boston and
studying to become a pharmacist. "I still have goals and my ambitions and I'm not gonna let this set me back," said Morris. Bouncing back in a big way, after surviving the unthinkable.

Witnesses say the hit and run driver was behind the wheel of a silver SUV. There's a 2 thousand dollar reward for more information leading to an arrest.
