CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Rhonda Moore says when it comes to gifts from exes, get rid of it!  "I know one time I gave a ring to my niece that a old boyfriend had given me and she wears it sometimes," she says.

But what if you could make same cold hard cash off your ex's cold heart?  www.NeverLikedItAnyway.com is the brainchild of 28-year-old Annabel Acton.  She got dumped five days before Christmas, left only with two plane tickets and some artwork she didn't like.  She says, "I started thinking, what am I going to do with these?"  Acton launched the site in December.  There are five or six new listings a day, complete with real, raw background stories.

There's everything from jewelry to travel to wedding dresses, even a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  And the weirdest item: "The Dead Aunt Pillow."  Acton says, "The pillow belonged to her ex's aunt and then the aunt died and he used to cry into the pillow 'cause he was upset and then she caught him cheating on her with this girl and they were sort of using the pillow somehow."  The pillow is for sale for $20.12, to mark a new year and new beginning.

Women are using the site to sell items they no longer want, but men are catching on that the site is the place to buy.  Acton says, "There's a lot of guys buying up the jewelry so there's a lot of jewelry going at very discounted prices.  There's a lot of smart guys snapping up that jewelry."

But of course, there are also people like Knox Gibson.  "I just got out of a relationship and all the stuff I've been given, I really enjoy and I don't plan on getting rid of it because she's still a good friend," says Gibson.

For the rest of us, there's NeverLikedItAnyway.com.  As one guy says, "You don't need that sentimental value around you anymore."

It costs $2.50 to list an item or $7.50 for a "feature" listing.  Acton says sellers have the most success when they provide a good background story and explain how they'll use the money.
