Girl Forced to Shave Head and Wear Diapers for Making Bad GradesFRIDLEY, M.N.--Police have arrested a man and woman for forcing the woman's daughter to shave her head and wear a diaper in pubic for making bad grades in school. Investigators say Stephanie Broten and Darnell Landrum have been charged with malicious punishment of a child. Police say a crowd of approximately 50 people were watching the 12-year-old do wind sprints in a diaper. Police say the girl was crying when they arrived on the scene. The girl and her three siblings have been placed in foster care. Broten has been released from jail on the condition that she will not contact her daughter. |
