Kid Friendly Snacks

Kelly's Notes:

Peanut Butter Honey Yogurt 

Mix 1/2 Tablespoon of peanut butter and 1 teaspoon of honey with 6 oz. of plain Greek yogurt.
Kids can help by stirring the ingredients themselves.
Or a parent can put the ingredients in a container for school and kids can shake the container to mix.


Apple & Peanut Butter Sandwich Rings

Cut apple so that you have round slices and cut out the core.
Create sandwiches by smearing peanut butter on one slice and topping with another. Another butter can be substituted if kids are allergic to peanut butter or just want a change.


Tomato & Cheese on a Stick

Alternate cherry tomatoes and cheese cubes on a wooden skewer.
It's kind of like the kid's version of the fancier tomato caprese salad on a skewer that I make for parties.
It's fun for kids to pull the snack off the stick and it's a pretty colorful snack.
Can add or substitute with other raw veggies like cucumbers, zucchini, squash.
