LOS ANGELES, CA-- The Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles apologizes for decades of sexual abuse by priests.

70 years of documents released by court order catalog a cover-up of 124 priests who molested children.

The Archbishop had a letter read at Masses across the city that said there is no excuse. There are mixed reactions from the faithful.

A Cardinal who moved priests accused of sexual abuse from parish to parish and shielded them from police has also been removed.
