Local Craigslist Crook Strikes Again

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--A Craigslist crook is setting up deals then stealing the stuff he is there to buy. 

It happened again Tuesday near the Sharon Park neighborhood in east Charlotte.  Cops say it's the fourth time in two weeks. 

The guy responds to Craigslist posts selling phones or other electronics.  Victims say he directs the sellers to a dead-end street then runs off with the goods. 

Officers say you have to use common sense.  If you are going to meet in-person for a swap, make sure it's in a public place.
