Local TV Reporter Struck By VehicleCHARLOTTE, N.C.--A local television reporter was injured after she was hit by a vehicle while shooting video during Wednesday night's storms. News 14 reporter Caroline Vandergriff is currently in stable condition at CMC. Police say she was standing near the intersection of East Morehead and Kenilworth Avenue with her video camera when two cars collided. One of those vehicles then struck Vandergriff. Police say the traffic lights were malfunctioning at the time of the accident because of the storms. |
