Lowe's Stores Are Stocking Up On EmployeesMOORESVILLE, N.C.-- Lowe's, Inc. announced on Tuesday that it is hiring 45,000 temporary employees for the spring rush. For home improvement retailers, spring is the equivalent of Christmas season. It marks a time when people are motivated to fix up their yards and start on new home improvement projects. Last year, Lowe's cut back on it's full-time employees to hire more part-time workers. This was a way to increase staffing during such busy times. The Mooresville-based company says that it also plans to hire 9,000 permanent part-time employees. Their seasonal employees work around 20 to 25 hours a week.
