Last weekend Jimmy Johnson and other Hendrick Motorsports crew members sported the wacky wig seen in the talking-animal movie, "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted”, in Victory Lane at the Dover International Speedway. This weekend Charlotte Crownpoint Theatre (9630 Monroe Rd, Charlotte) is celebrating the movie premiere here in Charlotte in their own unique way. 

Charlotte Crownpoint Theatre will be hosting a family day this Saturday, June 9th from 2-4p, and Thursday, June 14 from 1-3pm, in the theater parking lot. There will be games, prizes and food available for all ages! Cold Blooded Encounters will be bringing several unique animals for kids to learn about and the Ashboro Zoo has donated a family four-pack of tickets to give away. There will be Facepainting, Pin the Tail on the Donkey, Milk Bottle Toss, Egg Racing and even a Duck Matching Pond. Don’t miss out on the fun!

1.  PRIZES: 3 First Prize winners – winner of 1 Madagascar 3 soundtrack (ARV - $20), 1 t-shirt (ARV $20), 1 Rainbow Afro Wig (ARV $10), 1 Yo-YO (ARV $5), 1 Hacky Sac (ARV $5); 7 Second Prize winners of 1 poster (ARV $1), 1 t-shirt (ARV $20).           

2.    HOW TO WIN: Text “Zebra” to “45548” from June 8th, 2012 to June 18th, 2012. Every 5th person who texts in will win until 10 winners are selected. All other people will be sent a text that tells them that they are not winners. Winners must pick up their prizes from the FOX Charlotte Station between Monday-Friday 9a-5p.  

3.    ELIGIBILITY: Winners must be legal residents of North Carolina or South Carolina. Winners must be 18 years or older. No employee of FOX CHARLOTTE/WCCB-TV (“Station”), Bahakel Communications, their affiliated companies or their spouse, immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each, shall be eligible to win. Immediate family members include, but are not necessarily limited to parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.  No employee or family member of any employee, of any television or radio station in the Charlotte, NC DMA or ADI is eligible to win.        

Additionally, Station reserves the right to disqualify any other person from  participation in contest where such participation would, in the sole opinion of the Station and Sponsor, compromise or give the appearance of compromising the integrity of the contest.  No person shall be eligible to win a contest conducted by Station more than one time in any thirty day period.    

4.  MISCELLANEOUS:   (a.)    All entries become property of Station and Sponsor. Station and Sponsor are not responsible for entries lost, destroyed or never received while in route via the internet.       (b.) Winners will claim their prize at the studios of the Station. Winners  must provide a valid driver’s license or government issued photo ID to claim prize. Winners must sign a W-9 form before receiving their prize. If any individual fails to provide a valid ID or if the Station discovers the ineligibility of the viewer as outlined in the official rules and regulations, an individual can be disqualified from winning prize.   (c.) If prizes are not claimed within three weeks, the prize will be forfeited and Station will have the option to award the prize to another contestant.     (d.) Station and Sponsor accept no responsibility or liability in conjunction with acceptance of the prize. The winner agrees to hold Station and Sponsor harmless from, any injuries, losses or damages, of any kind caused by or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded here under. Winners must sign a release/waiver that releases Station and Sponsor, affiliated companies and all prize providers from any and all liability, claims, demands or action resulting from or use of the prizes awarded. Station and Sponsor are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the printing of the contest materials, administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize.  (e.) All federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations apply.  Void where prohibited by law.  Winners are responsible for all applicable federal, state & local taxes.   (f.) Failure to sign any applicable eligibility affidavit, release/waiver or the IRS W-9 form will result in the forfeiture of prizes. In that event, Sponsor can award the prize to another individual by a random drawing from correct entries.   (g.) By participating, winners consent to the use of their name, likeness and or voice without further compensation for advertising, public relations and promotions purposes.   (h.) All prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable.
