Man Charged in Wreck that Killed Grandmother, Mother

MATTHEWS, N.C.-- Police in Matthews are still investigating a wreck that killed two, and injured three, including two children.

The wreck happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Matthews Township Parkway.

Justin Jones, 28, was charged with DWI. He was injured and treated at Carolinas Medical Center Main.

Marie Cook, 62, and her daughter, Jennifer Hunt, 37, were killed in the wreck. Hunt's two children were injured and treated at Carolinas Medical Center Main.

This incident is still under investigation. Additional charges against Jones are pending.
