Man Charged with Sex Crimes After Wife Tips Off PoliceMOORESVILLE, N.C.-- An Iredell County man is behind bars accused of having a physical relationship with a minor. Daniel Ray Holliday, 39, was arrested Thursday after detectives obtained five felony warrants for statutory rape of a 13, 14, or a 15 year old by a person who is six or more years older than the victim, and 20 felony warrants for statutory sex offense of a 13, 14, or 15 year old by a person who is six years older than the victim. According to deputies, Holliday's wife filed a report in December after she suspected her husband was engaging in inappropriate behavior with a juvenile female. Detectives interviewed both Holliday and the victim. Holliday is being held at the Iredell County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond. Each charge is a B1 Felony. |
