Man Faces Charges In South Charlotte Wreck That Critically Injured Another Driver
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--Police say a man who caused a crash in south Charlotte that critically injured another driver will face driving while impaired charges.
Investigators say 31-year-old Nicholas Borden had been drinking when he drove his BMW at a high rate of speed down Johnston Road causing a three car accident early Monday morning.
Borden was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Both drivers of the other vehicles were also injured, one critically.
Detectives will seek additional charges once he is released from the hospital.
