Man Shoots, Kills Wife Following Domestic DisputeLANCASTER, S.C.-- A Lancaster man is behind bars accused of killing his wife during a domestic argument. Deputies with the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office arrived at a home on Old Jefferson Highway just before midnight Monday where they found Deborah Faile Hilton, 59, deceased from a single gunshot wound. Joseph Daniel Hilton, 62, was arrested early Tuesday and charged with murder after surrendering himself to deputies outside his home. Hilton is being held at the Lancaster County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing. |
