Man on the Edge: Tip Your Photographer?"To tip, or not to tip?" It's not an uncommon question after a meal out on the town. And if you do, how much? Ten percent? Eighteen? Twenty? Is there really any kind of rule? According to one customer (claiming to be a pastor), the lowly waiter doesn't deserve a thing. He allegedly wrote on the bill: "I give God 10 percent, why should you get 18?" Is he right on, or full of it? Our Man on the Edge works a thankless job as well.
