MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.--Approximately 200 people are homeless after a fire caught more than 100 apartments on fire near Myrtle Beach.

The flames broke out Saturday at Windsor Green in Carolina Forest.  Winds and low humidity are blamed for causing the fire to spread to the nearby apartments.

Rescue crews searched for victims as other residents were escorted to their homes to retrieve items that were not damaged.

No injuries were reported and the Red Cross is assisting the victims.
