Missing Woman Killed on I-85CHARLOTTE, N.C.-- An elderly woman who police say was missing since Tuesday was killed on I-85 early Wednesday after she was hit by a tractor trailer. Shirley Pharr, 76, was last seen leaving her home on Dawnshire Drive around 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to police. She was suffering from early stages of dementia. |
