Murder Warrant For Coastal Carolina Shooting Suspect

COLUMBIA,SC-- The State Law Enforcement Division has obtained a murder warrant charging a Conway man in the shooting death of a Coastal Carolina University student earlier this week.

SLED spokesman Thom Berry said Friday agents are looking for 20-year-old Marquis Spencer McDonald.

Nineteen-year-old Anthony Darnell Liddell of Bennettsville was shot at residence hall at the Conway school Tuesday night.

Berry says McDonald may be driving a white 1997 Lincoln Town Car with South Carolina license plate 5669 FZ.

Anyone with information about McDonald is asked to call the Coastal Carolina University Department of Public Safety at 843-349-2911 or 1-800-CRIME SC.
