Police: Myers Park Man Shoots, Kills SonCHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are conducting a homicide investigation after they were called to a home located on Fairfax Drive in Myers Park. The 911 call came in at 8:43 a.m. where the caller said he shot his son. Police later took the man into custody for questioning. Detectives are canvassing the area looking for witnesses.
