CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police have released the name of the man who died in a northwest Charlotte crash Friday night.
Brandon Bryant, 27, was driving his 1008 Nissan Altima northbound on Oakdale Road just before 9 p.m. Bryant lost control of his vehicle and crossed the center line into the oncoming traffic lane.
The right side of his Nissan stuck the front end of a 2003 Toyota Tacoma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Toyota Tacoma was driven by a 38-year old man who sustained minor injuries. A 34-year old woman as in the passenger seat and has serious injuries. A 7-year old child in the backseat of the Tacoma also has serious injuries. All three were transported to Carolina’s Medical Center for treatment.
