N.Y. Subway Murder Suspect Thought Victim Was MuslimNEWYORK, NY--Police say a woman who pushed a man to his death from a New York subway station thought he was a Muslim. 31 year old Erica Menendez is charged with murder as a hate crime. The man police say she pushed in front of a train on Friday was a 46 year old Indian immigrant who she thought to be Muslim. This is the second deadly subway attack this month.
