CHARLOTTE, NC-- Vance High School in Northeast Charlotte will soon get 25 new classrooms. 

The Charlotte Mecklenburg School Board approved a 6.7 million dollar construction contract Tuesday night.

The money will come from school bonds that voters approved back in 2007. The project should wrap up by next January.
