New I-85 Bridge Set To Open Friday

CHARLOTTE,NC--The new I-85 south bridge over the Yadkin River opens Friday night.

The new corridor will link Charlotte to Greensboro allowing traffic to flow easier through it's new four lane bridge.

Crews started tearing down the old I-85 relic last month which had two narrow lanes in each direction.
