New Tax Hike Plan For Stadium UpgradesCHARLOTTE,NC--There's a new plan to get public money to help renovate Bank of America Stadium. City Councilman James Mitchell sent a proposal to Raleigh Wednesday that would call for a half-cent hike to the food and beverage tax. State law makers said no to the original proposal which called for a one percent tax increase, and they didn't seem to favor the new on either. |
