Obama Fires Back at Romney on LettermanCHARLOTTE, N.C.-- Tuesday night Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney is trying to quiet criticism over comments he didn't know were caught on tape. The video recorded at a private fundraiser in May has gone viral. In the video Romney says there are 47 percent of people who will vote for the President no matter what. Romney says they depend on the government. While Romney sets the record straight, President Obama talked about the issue during a taping of the David Letterman Show. Romney got the math just about right. According to the nonpartisan "Tax Policy Center" 46 percent of American households paid no federal income taxes last year.
