One Person Injured in Light Rail AccidentCHARLOTTE, NC -- A driver trying to get around the railroad stop arms near South Boulevard and Remont Road was injured Sunday afternoon. Police say the female driver's SUV ran into a fence after attempting to beat the light rail train. She was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. We are told there was a total of 47 passengers on board. None of those people were injured and they were taken by bus to another train station.
