One Person Hit and Killed by Amtrak TrainCONCORD, NC -- Concord authorities are investigating the scene of a deadly accident involving a pedestrian and an Amtrak train. According to officials, the train was leaving from Charlotte and en-route to Raleigh around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday. There is no word as to what the victim was doing when he was struck and killed around 5:34 p.m. We are told none of the passengers on the train were injured and that the accident happened near Magnolia Crossing Circle and Sweet Bay Lane in Concord.
