It’s not every day that you are able to get hands-on with a Galapagos Tortoise, hold a tropical bird in your hand, or hangout up close with penguins.  But at Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens you can do just that.  And as our own Derek James shows us, it’s less than a One Tank Trip away.

Riverbanks Zoo, in Columbia, SC, offers more than your typical zoo. There are plenty of opportunities to get up close to the wild animals, even feed giraffes!  Beyond the animals, the zoo has a climbing wall and has introduced a new 4-story high ropes course challenge. It's a great way for the family to have fun together!
