Report: Panthers Promote Mike Shula to Offensive Coordinator

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--The Carolina Panthers have reportedly promoted quarterbacks coach Mike Shula to the offensive coordinator spot. 

The team also interviewed Cincinnati assistant coach Hue Jackson and Cleveland Browns' coach Pat Shurmur for the position. 

Shula has over 20 years of experience in the NFL.

The Panthers also promoted Richard Rodgers as the special teams coach and Ricky Proehl as the receivers coach.
