Planes Were Backing Up At CLT

CHARLOTTE,NC--The snow storm caused problems at the Charlotte Douglas Saturday night.

An airport spokeswoman said most flights were delayed an average of two hours due to the weather.

Many planes were stuck waiting for de-icer which officials say, takes about ten minutes per plane.

One report says pilots told passengers that at least 50 planes were delayed cause of the weather, many of them where grounded with passenger already on board.

Passenger Rick Brakeman snapped a photo after he spent more than two hours sitting on the runway waiting for de-icer after his plane arrived from Los Angeles.
